THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SILVER PLATED TERMINAL AND GOLD PLATED TERMINAL

In Order to meet customers different requirement of voltage and current, YESWITCH provides silver plated and gold plated switch terminals for customer option.

Silver plated switch terminals could support larger voltages and currents to 5A 120VAC or 28VDC and can also reach 250VAC under 2A, however, although gold plated terminals can only support  0.4VA MAX and the largest withstand voltage can only reach to maximum 20V (DC or AC), however, it is more stable and has better conduction capability, which is more excellent for the use of precision circuits.

The most important is, gold is anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion material so it can provide well protection for the terminals, that means gold plated terminals can not only prolong the storage, but also extend the life of switch under operating.Miniature toggle Switch
