Operating Principle
In manual operation, the switch action can be divided into two stages. The first stage is to use the hand to pull the lever toward the center until the lever is in a vertical position. At this time, the tip of the single-blade slider gradually moves closer to the middle until the middle position, and the compression spring is further compressed. After the lever is over the vertical position, the single-blade slider moves rapidly in the other direction under the pressure of the compression spring, and drives the lever to turn rapidly, then the moving contact plate is quickly separated from the fixed contact foot on one side and quickly connected with the fixed contact foot on the other side, which is the second stage. At this time, the separation speed of the contact is related to the size of the pressure spring and the friction between the moving parts, and the speed is very high. According to the test, the time from contact disengagement to reconnection is only about milliseconds, and the average speed is a few millimeters of seconds. This speed is many times faster than manual or maneuvering test speed.
