IP68 Waterproof metal pushbutton switch
Yeswitch PBM16 series IP68 sealed waterproof pushbutton switch are suitable for harsh applications such as control handles, engineering/OFF-road vehicle panels, industrial instruments, elevator and conveyor controls.
The switch is manufactured in a black aluminum alloy housing with a silicone rubber seal and is IP68 protected, ideal for harsh environments and power flush applications, or wherever there may be exposure to dust, water, or other harmful ingredients. The PBM series waterproof pushbutton switches are vibration-tested (10 to 500Hz) and shock tested (up to 50g) and are rated for up to 500,000 cycles of mechanical life.
Its fretting characteristics provide positive haptic feedback, while operating forces as low as 3N reduce operator fatigue. Designed for front panel mounting, the switch has a threaded body and is available with nut washers as standard.
The PBM16 series of IP68 Waterproof pushbutton switch offer a variety of button types and colors, thus providing designers with greater flexibility. Silver contacts can handle resistive currents up to 5A and gold-plated silver contacts are also available for small current applications as low as 10mA. Optional circuits include transient SPST NC, SPST NO and SPDT -- all with dual circuit design.
