There is an inductive capacitance between any two conductive objects. A button, namely, a solder pad and the earth, can also constitute an inductive capacitance. Capacitive touch button IC will output a confirmed signal that a key has been pressed after detecting a change in the inductive capacitance value of a key. Capacitive touch button because there is no mechanical structure, all the detection is the small change of electricity, so it will be more sensitive to various interference, so the design of touch button, touch panel design and touch IC selection are very critical.
